Get Rid Of Yeast Infection Discharge

How to get rid of yeast infection discharge?

Yeast infection symptoms are a painful enough experience to go through the first time but for some women they are a regular occurring nightmare even after they follow through religiously with treatments such as Monistat, Diflucan and Canesten. But why do these antifungal drugs fail at tackling yeast infections permanently? Read on and discover the reason why you still have yeast infection symptoms even after conventional treatment fails.

The infection occurs when Candida which is a form of yeast grows out of control. It affects many different parts of the body but the most common form of manifestation occurs in the vagina. They are particularly frequent just before or after menstruation, during pregnancy and during menopause because of the changes in the vaginal pH.

Common yeast infection symptoms experienced by women include:

* Vaginal itching which can become very persistent
* A thick white or yellow vaginal discharge and odor
* Rawness and redness of the vulva (area around the vagina)
* A burning sensation when urinating
* Discomfort during sexual intercourse.

The secret to getting rid of yeast infection symptoms is to address the cause of the candida overgrowth. Antifungal medication does not address this issue. They are designed to address the symptoms and while this treatment does work for some women, especially if this is their very first vaginal yeast infections, almost 3 out of every 4 women experience another infection in just a couple of weeks time. This can become very frustrating. Other main symptoms start to arise as yeast spreads such as fatigue, depression, muscle aches, headaches, constipation and skin irritation.

Standard medication is a form of antibiotic; antibiotics kill off good bacteria making it easy for yeast to grow. By feeding your body with more antibiotics you feed yeast creating a vicious cycle. To stop yeast from overgrowing you need to stop the use of antibiotics, change your diet and eliminate or greatly reduce foods that feed yeast such as: all sugary foods, coffee, alcohol, dairy products, refined carbohydrates and eat more fresh vegetables and fruit. You can then slowly reintroduce these in your body.

To get rid of painful yeast infection symptoms such as vaginal itching and irritation, use natural remedies such as any of these: tea tree oil, acidophilus cultures, gential violet, oregano oil, garlic and vinegar - these alone are stronger and more effective than some of the standard antifungal medication.

  1. what are easy steps to get rid of a yeast infection?
i woke up this morning to discover an itch in my genitle areas. after checking on it i’m seeing thick discharges with odours and theres a bit of red on it. i’m believing i have a yeast infection. are there good tips to get rid of this?

    • Cranberry juice is a natural way. It is loaded with antioxidants that kill the yeast. Another would be supplemental Cranberry Forte pills. It is basically ground cranberries with extra antioxidants. Or if you want, you can go to a pill pusher M.D. and they can prescribe you some antibiotics. Just an FYI, no matter which route you choose, it may take several days before any results occur.

  2. How do I completly get rid of a yeast infection?
I have been trying to get rid of this yeast infection that I have had for a week now. I went to the store as advised by my mom and got some Monistat 3. I used it and it did take away the itch and the discharge wasn’t coming out as heavy anymore. It finally cleared up completely on the 5th day, until my boyfriend and I had sex and during it we discovered some of the cloudy discharge was left on his penis from me. Was that still the discharge from the yeast infection or is that just normal?

    • a comment to the 1st response given… taking antibiotics CAUSE yeast infections….
      w/ that said
some women just take longer to get rid of them instead of the 3 day use the 7 day… also your boyfriend can get it as well and you can just keep passing it back and forth.. its the equivalent of jock itch.
to lesson your chances of getting one:
      1. dont wear tight clothing
      2. dry yourself completely after a shower or bath
      3. dont wear a wet swim suit for a long period of time
      4. eat yogurt w/ “live cultures” in it. (yoplait has it)

I want to know of a way that I can cure the yeast infection that I have without buying a yeast infection cream or chemical. The only symtom that I have right now is discharge, I know that it is a yeast infection and nothing else because I have had yeast infections before and I know, what they are like by now. Please help me! This is ANNOYING!!!!!

    • Try drinking kefir, it’s been used for hundreds of years and the probiotics in it really keep the yeast infections in check for women. I really enjoy Lifeway Kefir because it’s very tasty (You can get plain, strawberry, or other flavor) and it has 10 live cultures.

You can check what local stores carry it. I drink kefir very often (people do in Russia) and I never had a yeast infection in my life.
