Learn the Truth about Causes of Yeast Infection that the Pharmaceutical Corporations Want to Keep Hidden from You.

It is Candida species that causes yeast infections, or candidiasis. There are more than 100 naturally occurring species, but only 24 of them are recognized as true causes of yeast infection. The most abundant species is Candida albicas, then Candida glabrata, Candida krusei, Candida tropicalis, and Candida parapsilosis.

For people in good health, the intestines are protected from the growth of Candida by the positive gastrointestinal bacterial flora. Candida is usually kept to a minimum when the natural equilibrium between Candida and the gastrointestinal bacterial flora is maintained. When this balance is destroyed, Candida species can reproduce rapidly and bring on multiple symptoms of candidiasis. Oddly enough, the main cause of yeast infection is not therefore simply yeast organisms, even though these are usually present in small amounts in most areas of the human body.

Several internal considerations, several external items and their interacting relationship create a candidiasis environment. Yeast infection, like many other health diseases that recur, is the product of multiple factors.

Genetic traits (which are uncontrollable) and lifestyle and psychological factors can make for Candida overgrowth, also boosted by contributions from internal factors provoking yeast growth. Internal causes of yeast infection include:

1. Deficiency in friendly probiotic bacteria.
2. Weakened immunity.
3. Inferior diet choices: sugary products, white flour products, refined carbohydrates, caffeine, alcohol and other yeast encouraging foods.

Several more external factors and situations also lead to candida multiplication with infection. The yeast infection environment comes about because of these factors and associated co-factors internally.

The main external vectors of candidiasis in women are:

1. Douching or using female hygiene sprays (female intimate area).
2. Wearing tight garments or clothes made from synthetic fibers.
3. The use of toilet paper that is perfumed or colored, deodorant tampons or sanitary towels, or bubble bath.

The main external vectors of oral thrush are:

1. Being treated with badly disinfected medical equipment destined for multiuse.
2. Wearing orthodontic appliances or dentures that have a bad fit.
3. Putting dirty objects into one's mouth (above all for babies)

The main external vectors of baby diaper rash are:

1. Skin remains in excessive contact with urine and feces because of diapers kept too long.
2. Allergy reactions due to the dye in training pants and disposable diapers, and also the effects of wipes, lotions and creams, etc.
3. Lipid-dissolving soaps that increase the permeability of the skin, making diaper dermatitis even riskier.
4. Folds in the skin due to obesity, with additional moisture and friction due to insufficient circulation of air.

The external vectors of candida balanitis are:

1. Intimate relations with a partner already subject to a yeast infection.
2. Using glycerine based lubricants or colored or perfumed soaps.
3. Not observing basic male personal hygiene.

The external vectors of paronychia (nail bed infections) are:

1. The nail plate can be lifted up off the nail bed after soaking hands in water for a long time. This means that bacteria and yeasts easily penetrate and multiply in the space under the nail.
2. Use of clothing and shoes where air does not circulate.

Alternative holistic medicine considers the body as a whole with the aim of establishing an internal balance, to reinforce the immune system and improve mental strength. Because medicine in developed countries only deals with the manifestation of candida in the areas that are infected, conventional yeast infection treatments are short term measures. External vectors of candidiasis are well described, but the basic contributing factors are less so. The holistic program, addressing both internal and external contributing aspects, eliminates the fundamental causes of yeast infection, with specific supplements of herbs and vitamins, and following a full group of dietary rules and protocols to master Candida and thus the group of incommoding symptoms and its recurrence.

  1. yeast infection in men?
hey all 4 weeks ago i had a hyrocele repair procedure(in short a guold up of fluid in the testicles ) i got that done and was givn augmentin tabs to take for 2 weeks , a week into them i noticed an itch and a redness on the tip of my penis , i thought it was a yeast infection and my mother said that augmentin gives her thrush , my other 2 sisters also got that when they were on augmentin .after about 4 days i went to the doctor and he said it was indeed a yeast infection so gave me a cream called fucibet i mg fusidic acid/betamethasone , i applied that cream and after 10 days of use , the redness persisted with some white sores , also had a yellowy white discharge that smelled pretty bad , went back to the docktor again last week , he gave me flagyl tablets and a cream called daktacort 2% , ive takin all the flagyl and after 7 days of that and applying the cream twice a day the redness is still there , the discharge however is gone as is the itch but the redness is still there , i could not pull back my foreskin last week either for it was impossible to do so cause the skin was tight , i had a shower today and washed out that area just to give it a clean , it looked pretty ok beneath the skin , my penis also is flakey as well now , i dunno if thats cause of the cream or if the yeast infection is not gon , it have to have been the augmentin cause i havent been sexually active in some time , does anyone know if this is normal and the redness will go over time or if its not ??

    • The redness should subside in a few days to a week at the most. You should continue to wash well under your foreskin every day in the shower and pat it dry under your foreskin as well when you get out. Never use soap on your inner foreskin or penis head. You should also, rinse under your foreskin a second time thru the day and again pat it dry (gently) with a soft cloth. This will help with the redness and the dry skin.
Be careful washing, just use water and give it a gentle wipe, as the skin is probably going to be sensitive to touch for a few days.

Hope this helps you out a bit. Good Luck

  2. Can a man be a carrier for a yeast infection?
Before I started dating my boyfriend, I’d never had a yeast infection. Since we’ve been together (about a year), I’ve had four or five cases of yeast infection. He’s also said that in the past, his girlfriends have told him similar things, that they didn’t have problems with yeast infections before they were with him. He takes showers every day and generally keeps pretty clean. No, he doesn’t cheat on me, so he’s not getting it from another woman.

So can a man be the cause for a yeast infection in a woman?

    • Most definitely. If he was intimate with another woman before you who had the yeast infection, then he can pass it on to you. If he continues to give it to you, he should be checked himself. It doesn’t matter how much he showers, if that fungus is present in him, he will pass it on to you. If you take an antibiotic, make sure you finish all of it. That’s so important. Too many ppl don’t finish them when they start to feel better than wonder why an infection has returned. When you finish, it means the bacteria, fungus is gone. That’s why Dr’s will specify a certain amount of days because it means it takes that many days to kill off the infection no matter what it is. Good luck

  3. Can oral sex cause yeast infections on men and woman?

  5. Is it common to have a recurring yeast infection while pregnant?
I’m 16 weeks pregnant and it seems like i’ve had a yeast infection on and off from when I first found out I was pregnant. At first they put me on a anti biotic for what they thought was a bladder infection, and then the symptoms turned more towards a yeast infection. So they put me on a cream for that, which helped but didn’t totally cure it. It seems like it will go away for a week and then come back the next. Its been tolerable but its starting to get bad again and I dont understand why anything isn’t helping it? Could I have given it to my boyfriend & him not know it, and we keep giving it back to each other? (I wasn’t aware men could get yeast infections until recently) Do they show symptoms? Or is there any other infection that could cause yeast like symptoms? Or does pregnancy give these kind of symptoms?! I’m so frustrated and worried!! Help!

    • id get you and your boyfriend treated as yes you can pass it on i suffered with it all threw my pregnancy and live yoghurt does help
